When I started experiencing pain all the time, I first went to my primary family doctor to make sure it wasn't anything else that could be life-threatening. Then I went to the othropedist to make sure none of my bones were giving me trouble. Then I went to a rhumatologist, who actually diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. You first need to check off every other condition before you get diagnosed with fibromyalgia. It's annoying, but necessary. I suggest getting checked for lupus, lyme disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. Those conditions could also give you the same symptoms as fibromyalgia. But yeah, start with your primary doctor. You don't have to go through the same steps I did. Just talk to your primary doctor and ask about possibly testing for fibromyalgia and related conditions. Good luck!

And an update on my condition. I am now a sophomore in college. My condition has been getting better thanks to my wonderful doctor up in Heaven and down here on earth. I am taking lots of supplements to balance out the chemicals in my body to help get rid of the pain. I am also taking natural anti-depressants and sleep medications to help with the fatigue and depression side of things. I am only taking a small pain killer daily and a heavier pain killer when I need it. I have to make sure I get 10 hours of sleep and make sure that I exercise daily. I have more energy and my pain level has gone down drastically. So praise God for that!
