I was diagnosed with Fibro about 4 years ago. I am now about four months pregnant. I have of course had to cut back on my pain meds. The problem is I still I still hurt. I spend most of my time in bed with ice packs....which is bad because my weight is going up. The migraines are coming everyday and are so bad that it hurts to even lay down because the pressure of the pillow even hurts. I am not sure how in the world to get through the next 5 months with this kind of pain. Does anyone have any advice?

Unfortunately, you are at a critical time in your baby’s development, and there are not many therapies or supplements that are recommended. Just for the sake of safety, I would not suggest trying any other therapies before the 25th week or so unless advised by your doctor. Hopefully, some of these pains will lessen on their own, many women report that their fibro symptoms actually lessen after the initial stages of pregnancy. This may be due in part to the increase of a hormone called relaxin
