Is this normal?

I am 18 years old and was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a few months ago. I am not on any medications, but I did start taking vitamins which seemed to help and exercise. My back and legs bother me the most, and this pain is something that has become a part of everyday life. The other day I had something very strange occur that has never happened before, I woke up like normal and went to get out of bed and noticed my legs were extremely sore and had a kind of numb feeling. I stood up and could barely stand on my own. The entire day I spent in bed, even in bed I had to move my legs with my hands because the pain was so severe. What could have caused this? Is there anything to take to relieve the pain? I should add that I have a very high tolerance for pain medication and prefer more homeopathic remedies. At this point I am willing to try almost anything, what can I do?
