I have been recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was prescribed Topamax. I have thoroughly researched this med, as I do with all medications, and I see that it is most commonly used for migraines and seizure disorders, but is being prescribed more and more frequently for fibromyalgia. One of the more common side effects seems to be feeling tired and sluggish. Well...it is 4:19 a.m. now, and I am still wide awake. Do you have any advice for bettering my sleep quality? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have been taking an herbal supplement for my sleeping problems. It is called Rest and Restore and it is made by Nutraceuticals. It has GABA, Valerian root, Scullcap leaf, Passion flower, Chamomile, L-Threonine, 5-HTP, and Melatonin in it. It has worked wonders for me. I used to sleep for about an hour or two and then I would wake up but now I sleep all the way through the night. I actually stopped taking about two weeks ago and I'm still sleeping really good. It really knocks me out and I wake up refreshed. Good luck and God Bless You!
