Hi! I've known I had fibro for about 5 years, but I didn't want to believe it.
So, here I am on a website support group, because I just can't take the pain anymore. My marriage is in the toliet. My husband is patient, but only he can take so much. I had to quit one job because of it. I got fired from another job, and my job now is easier physically, but I still have problems making it to work everyday. The Dr's are either crazy or I am, sometimes I am not sure which. I think I have at least 99% of all fibro symptons. My medical bills are outrageous, and I am tired of it all.
I really do believe there has to be something to help. I just don't know where to start. Because of the memory loss, sleep deprivation, constant pain etc., I can't even think most of the time. I think I need like a 10 step plan or something. Someway to implement changes one at a time. Is there anyone out there that can help me. Sure would appreciate it!
Thanks for listening! |

Unfortunately, your story is typical of so many people that suffer from Fibromyalgia. It is considered a diagnosis of exclusion and is often not even considered by doctors until extensive and expensive testing has ruled out all other possibilities. This often saps all of the remaining strength and resources from someone that is dire shortage of both. There is not a 10-step plan that I am aware of, but there are numerous things that can offer some hope.
A fairly simple step that can help many people regardless of health conditions is to cleanse the body of toxins. A colon cleanse with Oxy-Powder, a liver/gallbladder flush, and a parasite cleanse can assist the body in removing unwanted toxins. An easy to follow protocol can be found at www.ghchealth.com/liver-and-gallbladder-flush.html. The removal of these toxins can often result in increased energy and mental clarity, two things that every Fibro sufferer greatly needs. Beyond this step, there is a product called Fibro-Balance that can help with the fatigue and soreness issues that are so common. It can help to oxygenate the body and regulate immune function as well. It is recommended to use this product for 6 months with a 2-week break in between cycles. A patient study using this formulation showed a 49% overall reduction in reported symptoms with a group of Fibromyalgia sufferers. Complete study details can be seen at /www.fibromyalgia-support.org/fibrobalance-study.html. In addition to this, you can also apply NutraCool™ topically to any areas of muscle soreness. This product is completely natural and does not have any of the side effects that are associated with over-the-counter pain medications such as NSAIDs. For many people, the effect can become more pronounced the longer the product is used. Beside these, you also may want to investigate Rest-Quiet sleep patches. These utilize a new technology that works by altering the energetic field surrounding the body instead of ingesting or absorbing any nutrients. These patches can actually stimulate multiple acupuncture points without using any types of needles.
One final note: recent independent studies show that many Fibro sufferers also test positive for the Lyme spirochete, Borrelia burgdorferi. It would be helpful to work with a local naturopath, chiropractor, or other practitioner that is experienced in natural medicine that can order a QRib test to see if this is true in your case. |
