All over body pain, especially in my neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees, and ankles. It's like a gnawing pain that won't go away. My doctor put me on Lyrica recently and I'm working my way up to the theriputic dose right now. I also suffer from depression so getting out of bed these days is a huge thing for me. Hope you are getting the help you need for your fibro :) How old are you may I ask?

Hi smoochie, I'm 39, but I'm just not completely convinced that I have Fibro. I do have alot of the symptoms, but all this started with symptoms that had the doctors testing me for MS. I was so scarred and my panic disorder went through the roof. My main problem rite now is that I have difficulting walking, I feel unsteady, and have constant muscle spasms that burn in my legs. Some days they really hurt and other days they are just annoying. I get weird random pains in my elbows and fingers, toes, and it feels sore when my hubby rubs my back. They said I dont have MS because my MRI's of my brain and cervical spine showed no lesions whatsoever, but I keep hearing of these people out there who have MS but the lesions dont show on the MRI. My doctors keep telling me that this is sooooo highly unlikely but since I'm a very anxious person by nature, its hard for me to trust what they say. So I guess I got Fibro, LOL, but somedays I have such a hard time walking. I dont know if its because of the spasms in my legs, or the fact that i feel soooooo weak. Maybe its both but I wasnt aware that Fibro can affect ur walking.?? Let me know what u think, and I'm sorry ur having such a rough time with depression. I'm here if u need to talk.

I never thought I'd be 28 and get up in the morning and can barly walk. But yes it's true, fibro can affect your walking. I can no longer play with my 3 and 9 year old boys because it hurts to bad to do any activties, so I just sit and watch them. I get up at night because my hips hurt so bad or my legs and arms go numb. When you went to the doctor did they check the pressure points? If not you can do them yourself, they have them on WebMd, or any other medical website really. That is what made me go to the doctor. I was using the heating pad constantly all over my body and I got to thinking I needed heat all over my body. So I bought an electric blanket and put it on my recliner and lay on that. It's not really hot enough but it's relaxing for me at night after the boys go to bed just to lay there and try to relax. lol My short term memory is horrible now, I had to drop out of college because I can't concentrate or remember things, life has just basically stopped since all this started. I'm seeing a counsler to try to deal with all the emotional shit and the anexiety and just coping with everything. It's hard because unless you are going through it, you really don't understand. It's kinda nice to have someone to talk to about things. :)

Well ur welcome to talk to me all u want, cuz I'm not going anywhere apparently, LOL, My symptoms in my legs are mostly burning pain and I cant tell if thats the Fibro or the spasms I've been having for weeks. Does any of ur pain feel like burning or tearing, or is it all soreness. I get the soreness too but its way more random. Something new will feel sore everyday, but then it just disapears like it was never sore and moves somewhere else. I dont know, weird>>??? :?

P.S. If u get to where u trust me a little, or u get tired of the back and forth with messages, or if u just need to talk to someone, u are welcome to call me. I'm here all the time. LOL (317)215-4430. Call whenever

Hope u didnt take my last message the wrong way, I was just offering because I have been on these sites for weeks now, and I know sometimes u just want to talk or get an answer to something instead of waiting on a response back from somebody. I wasnt trying to be pushy or make a pass. Just saying. Take care

I can deffinatly understand the friend thing, I have pretty much alienated everybody just so I dont have to hear one more person ask me how I'm feeling or how I'm doing, the last time someone asked me that I about snapped. Anyway, I'm so sorry ur hurting so bad, I have been deeling with this pain in my legs for weeks now and sometimes I cant even remeber what it felt like to not be in pain everyday. I've been feeling somewhat more depressed the past couple of days so maybe I will give u a call and we can moan and groan to eachother on the phone. LOL, sorry just trying to be funny. Talk to ya soon.

smoochie, the symptoms you describe here are very similar to the ones I experience. Been on disability for over 6 months now :( SSD approved me then suspended me for review, long term disability is playing games. anxiety is through the roof...didn't get out of bed til 3pm today. But I do try to stay positive. My children are what keeps me going... Take care...lyndy

I hear ya both! Why are they threating to take your disablity away? That's rediculus! I am applyin right now and running into some road block but nothing I cant' get through. On top of my fibro I also have extreme depression and migraines which I've had since I was 15 and I'm now 28.
I also have the tremors, but I didn't get them until I started Lyrica. I think that's why I have mine which I am going to the doctor next week and will be getting off it.
Well it's nice to know that there are two more people that know what I'm going through on a day to day basis! Hang in there! Talk to you soon!
