Hello,
My name is Sean and I am a college student at the Art Institute of Austin. I am currently working on a project in a senior level graphic design class. The assignment was to pick an issue or topic that was important to you, research it, then come up with a design based way to improve the situation. In other words, to think of a way to use design for the power of good.
I chose the topic of Fibromyalgia awareness because my mother has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia since before I was born and has dealt with it for a long time now. I feel that she has succeeded in her own personal struggle with it but I've heard many stories about other people's difficulties and hope that when it's complete, my project can help in some way.
So to that end I am posting here, as well as on other support forums, in hopes that I can get some help with one of my research gathering surveys. It is a short 10 question fill in the blank survey that is completely and utterly anonymous. It asks about your experiences with Fibromyalgia and what you may think could be done to help. I'm not a medical student or have been personally diagnosed with Fibro, but your perspective would be invaluable for my research and help me determine the course for my project from here forward.
The link for the survey is HERE.
And if anyone is interested I've got a tumblr blog up to keep track of my progress with the project, link for that is HERE.
Thank you in advance for your help and taking time to read this and look at the survey. I greatly appreciate it.
