Hi,
I am 37 years of age and I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia at age 20.
Right now I am experiencing a very scary symptom and I am not sure what to do... wondering if anyone else experiences this. I know it is on the symptom list but I guess if I understood why it happens and also knew that others get it, I might feel better.
About 2 weeks ago I noticed that my vision bounces and shakes. I feel like the words vibrate and dance almost. I went to an ophthalmologist I trust on Wednesday who reassured me that nothing serious is going on. I do not have nystagmus, optic neuritis, nothing neurologically-based in his mind, and nothing within the eye and its structures to cause this either.
That's fine to hear but I'm still not content not understanding why the words on the page I am reading are dancing, vibrating, bouncing around!
Does anyone suffer from this same symptom? I am so freaked out. My Christmas has been ruined because of the anxiety created over this distressing symtpom. Thanks.
