Ways to decrase pain and fatigue!

Ways to decrase pain and fatigue!

We all figure out ways to cope with the pain and fatigue and I'm hoping that we can share our personal tips of thingd that help and hopefully we can all help each other. I am fortunate to have a husband with a good job which allows me to stay home and take care of myself. One tip that I would like to share that is so simple and works great. I use an electric heating blanket, I have one with 2 controllers because my husband doesn't like it as toasty as I do, but before I get into bed at night I preheat my bed. You wouldn't think something as simple as a heating blanket would make such a big difference but it does. Since using a heating blanket at night My muscle pain is much more tolerable. I also am sleeping better than I have in years. I stongly reccommend a heating blanket if you suffer from fibromyalgia or any type of chronic pain. My husband has arthritis and says his pain has decreased since we have been using the heating blanket. In fact we traveled out of town one night and with out my blanket It was awful I slept terrible and woke up in severe pain. Now I take my electric heating blanket with me when we travel. Since being diagnosed with fibromyalgia besides pain medication this has helped better than any other thing that has been suggested so I wanted to pass along a healthy way to decrease your morning pain and stiffness. Try it and let me know if it helps you. I'm curious to see if it also works for other as much as it has worked for me. I have other suggestions and will share them on my next post. I wish for you a wonderful and pain free day.
Do you have a tip you can share on things that help you deal with pain?

I was recently diagnosed with fibro and I got a heating blanket instead of buy tons of heating pads! lol I put mine on my recliner and I love to turn it on and just lay there and relax. It doesn't help with the pain so much but it helps with the stress and relaxes me somewhat! I'm glad to hear someone else has the same idea as me!
